  • The Baltimore Sun. This is Baltimore's largest-circulation newspaper. Letters to the editor should be submitted to this e-mail address, letters@baltsun.com. For those a little more ambitious, a longer piece can be sent to this address, commentary@baltsun.com (be sure to include Having Your Say in the subject line). Keep it to about 400 words. Really got to get something off your chest? Try a submission to the Opinion-Commentary page, also at commentary@baltsun.com. Opinion pieces should be no longer than 700 words.
  • The Baltimore Examiner. This is a free daily delivered to most households in the Baltimore area. Letters to the Examiner should be sent to the address, letters@sfexaminer.com, and should preferably be kept to under 150 words.
  • The Baltimore City Paper. This free weekly has a readership of 300,000. Electronic letters to the City Paper must be submitted through its web site, from this URL: http://www.citypaper.com/about/letter.asp.
  • The Baltimore Times is an African-American themed newspaper founded in 1988. It may be reached through this e-mail address, btimes@btimes.com.
  • The Baltimore Afro-American is the local publication of the Afro-American newspapers group. The local paper may be contracted through this e-mail address: editor@afro.com.
