The Traffic & Transportation Committee was formed to try to address the traffic and transportation issues in the neighborhood. The primary problems identified by a survey of the community are (a) the speed of traffic, (b) the volume of traffic and (c) traffic violations that occur repeatedly. The committee has worked to address parking issues as well. We have worked on the problem of maintaining the bus routes in the community. We are currently working with the Baltimore City Department of Transportation to try to develop a traffic calming plan for Roland Avenue between Northern Parkway and Wyndhurst Road, to deal with the many safety issues created during the morning and evening rush hours.
